GSWC Stories and Slides
One of the missions of our society is to assist you in genealogical studies. We offer two educational events each meeting: a speaker and a class. Attending GSWC meetings will help you to keep current with what's happening in the world of genealogy.

Attending Program and Education committee meetings is an even better way to stay informed. Members of this committee will tell you it is one of the best ways to keep in touch with what is out there and assessing what members want to hear. If you are interested in joining the Program and Education committee or have a suggestion for a program, please send a message to programs@washtenawgenealogy.org.

Some of the current work of the Program and Education committee is shown here, plus other member news. The timelines were developed for the 50th anniversary event.

History of the GSWC 1974-2024 created and published on Timetoast, an easy-to-use site to create simple timelines online. We like the horizontal view with the scroll bar. If the purple scroll bar is hidden when you open the link, scroll down to bring it into view. Click on the thumbnail images to enlarge. Also try the full-screen and list views. We like the format of the timeline when it is saved as a PDF file, too (see About Us > History). Contains ads.
