The GSWC website is copyrighted. Materials available on the GSWC website are protected by the copyright laws of the United States and other countries. When you access the GSWC website, you agree to the following terms.

Terms of Use
             1. As a new GSWC member, you must create a personal password in order to prevent incidents that could cause a 
                 privacy or copyright violation. The initial password supplied to you is only temporary; it is insufficient to prevent
                 unauthorized access to the website because it would be easy for others to guess.


             ​2. You may download and display the contents of the GSWC website for informational purposes only.


             ​3. You may save a local copy of individual items or print them (1) for your own personal use, (2) for limited educational
                 use, or (3) for professional genealogical research.   
       * You may not charge for such use.
  • You may not copy any part of the GSWC website to post or publish on any non-GSWC website without explicit written permission from the GSWC. This includes any indexes compiled by GSWC volunteers or donated to the society and published on our website. 
  • You may not copy the entire GSWC website to post or publish on any non-GSWC website.


4. You must include the copyright notice in any copy that you make.
5. The copyright to any articles published in the GSWC journal, Family History Capers, is held by the Genealogical Society of Washtenaw County, Michigan, Inc., unless otherwise specified.
