"Using the Quantity of Shared DNA to Answer Genealogical Questions" presented by Dr. James Sims

March Program Flyer

This meeting has been cancelled  Marcia McCrary

Genealogists can use the quantity of DNA, measured in centiMorgans (cM), they share with strangers to better understand the range of genealogical relationships that are possible. This talk teaches how to use the results of “The Shared cM Project”, organized by Blaine Bettinger PhD, JD, to solve genealogical problems. Using the quantity of shared DNA effectively is a key genetic genealogy skill all genealogists who use DNA evidence should master.
