“Ann Arbor’s Oldest Cemeteries,” Tim Athan, Ann Arbor Observer, February 22, 2009. Clan Crawford, Jr., shared a memory from about 1953 about a petition by Pittsfield Township to the circuit court for a judgment to vacate a pioneer cemetery. The owner wanted to build houses on it.
